Intelligent Resource performance reveals banner year

Intelligent Resource has been shortlisted as a finalist for two categories in the 2011 Recruiter Awards for Excellence. The business is a wholly-owned company within the Sopra Steria Group.

?London, 21 March 2011: The Recruiter Awards celebrate the achievement of the UK's best recruiters and act as a benchmark for exceptional business and individual performance. They are designed to reward best practice and innovation within the recruitment sector, with over 200 companies submitting entries.

Intelligent Resource has reached the final in two separate categories: "Best Small Agency of the Year" and "Best Small Recruitment Agency to Work For". Managing Director Pete Holliday comments: “Our inclusion in two shortlists demonstrates the strength both of our client service excellence and of our internal strategies.

“I am especially pleased because we are up against such stiff opposition. As well as competing against other recruitment agencies from across the UK, we are measured against the recruitment teams within large businesses such as BT, Diageo, Network Rail and Accenture, all of which are in the finals.”

The criteria for the two categories are:

Best Small Agency of the Year: awarded to a recruitment, interim or executive search agency operating in any sector that has achieved the most stand-out business accomplishments of the year. The winning entry will have provided evidence of having enhanced the recruitment industry’s reputation in the UK business world.
Best Small Recruitment Agency to Work For: awarded to a recruitment, interim or executive search agency operating in any sector able to show evidence that it provides the most effective work environment, incentives, benefits, training, internal communications and 'best practice' oriented management. The award will recognise an agency that offers outstanding values as an employer.
 

The winners will be announced at the 2011 Recruiter Awards for Excellence on 11 May. Pete Holliday continues: “The importance and credibility of these awards make it a fantastic achievement for Intelligent Resource to have reached the final in not one, but two categories.”
