With the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) coming into force on 25 May 2018, our teams have been reviewing the extent of the personal data we hold and how this is processed. The work we have been doing over the last twelve months, means our systems and processes are now fully aligned to ensure we are compliant with the new legislation.
Sopra Steria Recruitment operates as both an Employment Business and an Employment Agency and as such needs to hold information on:
- work-seeking candidates,
- client organisations and their employees who utilise our recruitment services
- our recruitment partner organisations
- suppliers in the form of Limited Companies and their employed worker(s)
- other suppliers such as technology providers, job-boards and other advertising media
GDPR brings new responsibilities for how we process and manage personal data of individuals. You can understand more on this and your rights as an individual in our candidate and contractor privacy notice.
